Made this today, with the addition of my own garlic herb spice blend on the chicken ..before browning with the addition of the paprika! What a great smoky addition! I also added two tablespoons of cream cheese to thicken the sauce even more. Wish I could share a picture here they were quite beautiful! Thank u for sharing this great keeper recipe! Very KETO yum!

I made this lemon butter chicken today, but using bone-in breasts as that is what I had on hand. I followed the recipe otherwise, adjusting the cooking time accordingly; this dish was awesome and my family loved it. I will definitely be making this again. Thank you for this wonderful (and easy) recipe. And yes, you do want to eat the sauce with a spoon, it is that good!

Turn Instant Pot to sauté setting. Add bacon and chorizo and cook. Remove some of the grease. Add the onions and garlic, and cook until the onions are softened. Add ham, diced tomatoes, peppers, cilantro, oregano, paprika, cumin, and cook for 5 additional minutes. Add dry pinto beans and 5 cups of chicken broth. Secure the lid and cook on high pressure for 30 minutes. Allow the pressure to naturally release before removing the lid (about 20-30 minutes). Taste and season with salt and pepper.

Sauté bacon, chorizo, onion and garlic in a pan and add to slow cooker with ham, diced tomatoes, peppers, cilantro, oregano, paprika, cumin, dry pinto beans, and 6 cups of chicken broth. Cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-5 hours until beans are tender. Taste and season with salt and pepper as needed.

This chicken mole recipe reminds me of my childhood home where aromas of spices, onion, and garlic wafted out from the kitchen daily. While this recipe calls for numerous toasted ingredients, adapting the recipe to suit your own tastes is part of the fun.

Next, add cut vegetables to your soup. We recommend using celery, cilantro, bell pepper, yellow onion and crushed garlic. Boil the soup for another 15 minutes. Then remove the chicken pieces and set them aside.
